The ABBA Phenomenon Quite simply put, this site is fabulous. Being a huge ABBA fan, I was pleasantly surprised to spot this site among the World1000. There is so much information on this Australian site, not to mention links for days, that you will find it hard to close the window. The webmaster’s unique insight adds a lot of charm and sparkle to an already wonderful cornucopia of information and pictures. It is easy to see why these fab 70’s Pop Superstars are still garnering so much attention. There are things about this group that even the most diehard fans will be surprised to find out. Did you know that more than 10 years after the group disbanded ABBA Gold, a Greatest Hits compilation was released and sold over 12 million copies (some estimates are closer to 20 million)! That was an easy one, but it gives you newbies an idea of the level of popularity this group continues to have.
